terms of use
last updated: november 8, 2026
important health notice
juntos organizes care among family members. It is not a medical device, does not give medical advice and does not replace doctors, nurses, pharmacists or other health professionals. In an emergency, do not use the app: call the emergency number where you are (such as 911 in the United States, 112 in the European Union or 192 in Brazil).
about these terms
These terms of use are the agreement between you and TEAM DEVZ TI LTDA, registered in Brazil under CNPJ no. 47.784.342/0001-03, based in Brasília, DF (“we”, “us”), the company responsible for the juntos app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
what juntos is
juntos helps a family coordinate the care of a person (the patient), whether they are in a hospital, a clinic or at home. Each group is dedicated to one patient. Members share updates with photos and videos, the shift schedule and swaps, visits, where the patient is, medications, allergies and prescriptions, as well as errands and tasks. The app is available for Android and iOS, in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
health: what the app does not do
- juntos is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, does not recommend treatment and does not replace the care team.
- Always follow the instructions of health professionals and the original prescription.
- Reading prescriptions with artificial intelligence can get names, doses and times wrong. Always check against the original prescription before saving and before giving any medication. If in doubt, ask the doctor or pharmacist.
- Information entered by members may be incomplete, wrong or out of date.
- juntos is not an emergency service. Messages and notifications may be delayed or not arrive, and location may be inaccurate. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
who may use juntos
The app is made for adults (18 or older) who are able to accept these terms. People under 18 may only use it with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. To create an account, you need a mobile number that can receive SMS.
your account
- Use your own number and provide accurate information.
- Your account is personal. Look after your phone and do not share the sign-in code sent by SMS.
- You are responsible for what is done with your account. If you lose your phone, change your number or suspect misuse, contact us.
groups, organizers and invitations
- Whoever creates a group becomes its organizer. It can be a family member or the patient.
- The organizer decides who joins the group and is responsible for the people they invite.
- Only invite people who agree to take part. When you invite someone “from contacts”, use the contact only for the invitation.
- To enter information about the patient, you must have their permission or be their legal representative.
- What is shared in the group is confidential. Respect the patient’s privacy and wishes, and do not share the content outside the group without permission.
the content you post
What you post remains yours. So the app can work, you give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide permission (license), limited to storing, copying, technically processing, transmitting and displaying that content to the group’s members and, when you ask, sending it to the providers described in the privacy policy (as in prescription reading). This license is only for operating the service and ends when the content is deleted from our servers, subject to the backup period.
You are responsible for what you post and confirm that you have the right to post it, including photos and information about other people. We do not review group content, but we may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms or the law when we become aware of it.
acceptable use
When using juntos, you agree not to:
- post content that is illegal, offensive, discriminatory, harassing or that violates other people’s rights;
- post someone’s photos or data without the necessary permission;
- add people to a group without their consent;
- impersonate anyone;
- try to access other people’s groups or accounts, get around the app’s security or overload the service;
- copy the app, reverse engineer it or collect data by automated means;
- use the app for spam, advertising or any illegal purpose.
7 days on the server: look after your device
Updates, comments, notifications, photos, videos and prescription photos stay on our server for 7 days after they are posted. After that, they exist only on members’ devices, stored inside the app and excluded from iCloud and Google backups.
- If you uninstall the app, sign out, delete your account, or lose, reset or replace your phone, this content disappears from your device, and we have no way to recover it.
- Photos and videos are downloaded automatically. Videos download over Wi-Fi and, from the 6th day, over any network, which may use your mobile data.
- Open the app often so content is downloaded in time, and keep your own copy of anything that matters to you.
reading prescriptions with artificial intelligence
Prescription reading is optional and only works after you give consent on a dedicated screen in the app. The result is a suggestion: you must review and correct it before saving. Whoever saves it is responsible for checking the information against the original prescription.
service availability
We provide juntos “as is”. We work to make it run well, but we do not guarantee it will always be available, error-free or uninterrupted. Notifications, SMS and location depend on third-party services, your carrier and your device. We may change, add or remove features, and we will let you know in the app when a change is significant.
app stores
If you downloaded the app from the App Store or Google Play, those stores’ terms also apply. Apple and Google are not responsible for juntos or for supporting it.
suspension and termination
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time, inside the app. We may suspend or close an account in case of a serious or repeated breach of these terms, when required by law or to protect other people, giving notice when possible. If we decide to shut down the service, we will give reasonable advance notice in the app.
limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for:
- health decisions made based on information in the app, including prescription reading;
- content posted by group members;
- loss of content that, after 7 days, exists only on devices;
- failures of third-party services, such as carriers, SMS, notification providers, GPS and app stores;
- indirect damages, such as lost profits.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited, or the rights guaranteed by Brazil’s Consumer Protection Code.
changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will let you know in the app before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version.
governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The courts of Brasília - DF are chosen to settle disputes, without prejudice to a consumer’s right to bring a claim in the courts where they live. If you live outside Brazil, these terms do not take away the rights that your country’s consumer laws guarantee and that cannot be waived by contract.
These terms exist in Portuguese, English and Spanish. In case of any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.
